<p>PURPOSE:To provide an optimum cover for stent in place of a conventional Biobrane, for which work such as the cut or adhesion of film is complicated and requires much labor, not to be extended so much. CONSTITUTION:A cover 1 is used for covering the outside surface of the stent composed of mesh-shaped metal or plastic to be extended by the expansion of a balloon for extending and holding the isthmus of a blood vessel or the like and for preventing the organ tissue of the extended and hold isthmus from being stricted again by being expanded from the mesh of the stent to the internal surface side. This over 1 is composed of a hollow cylindrical body 2, of which both ends are opened, composed of soft fluororesin, the inner diameter is formed almost equal to the outer diameter of the stent before the extension and the friction resistance of the inside surface is made enlarger but that of the outside surface is made smaller by projecting parts 3 or the like.</p> |
