PURPOSE:To obtain a flexible polyurethane foam having a low density, improved resiliency and compression set, and a low percentage of 6Hz vibration transmission by using water as the blowing agent and using an organic polyisocyanate composition comprising a specified mixture. CONSTITUTION:A process for producing a flexible polyurethane foam by reacting a mixture comprising an active hydrogen compound, a blowing agent, a catalyst, a foam stabilizer and an assistant with an organic polyisocyanate, wherein water is used as the blowing agent, and a mixture comprising a polymethylenepolyphenyl isocyanate (A) which is represented by the formula (wherein n is an integer of 0 or greater) and in which the content of a binuclear component (n=0) is above 60 to 90wt.%, and the weight ratio of a trinuclear component (n=1) to the total of an at least tetranuclear component (n>=2) and a lowly active component is 1.1 to 20.0 and 2,4- and/or 2,6-tolylene diisocyanates (B) in a weight ratio (A/B) of (97-80)/(3-20) is used as the organic polyisocyanate composition. |
