An animal feedstuff (I) comprises: (A) a dry main feed mixt. contg. the nutrient components of (I), pref. consisting of a broken up extrudate of a feed pre-mixt. and opt. cereal flakes; and (B) /-1 supplementary feed mixt., which is soluble and/or suspendable in water. (A) and (B) are separately prepd. mixts., which are kept separate (before use). Claimed prepn. of (I) in ready-for-use form involves dissolving or slurrying a suitable amt. of (B) in water (pref. at 50-80 deg C), opt. with stirring, and mixing the obtd. sauce with a portion of (A). |
