PURPOSE:To provide a holder for a door lock knob capable of corresponding to door trims having different thickness by mounting two pairs of the fitting engaging pawls having different engaging height of an engaging surface. CONSTITUTION:First paired fitting engaging pawls 15, 15 have bendable base sections 16 and engaging surfaces 17, and formed while holding a guide hole 11. The engaging height of the engaging surfaces 17 is set at a specified value. On the other hand, second paired fitting engaging pawls 25, 25 similarly have bendable base sections 26 and engaging surfaces 27, and arranged in a row while being adjoined to the first fitting engaging pawls 15 and formed while holding the guide hole 11. The engaging height of the engaging surfaces 27 is set at a specified value different from the case of the first fitting pawls. When a holder for a door lock knob is mounted on a door trim, the engaging surfaces of a pair of one fitting pawls having engaging height corresponding to the thickness of the door trim are retained and fitted elastically to a holder mounting hole at the time of the thin door trim, and the engaging surfaces of a pair of the other fitting engaging pawls having engaging height corresponding to the thickness of the door trim are fitted at the time of the thick door trim. |
