The cylinder forming the plug is drilled (15) out to plug shaft diameter (22) and is recessed (18) at the end appropriate to the driving part of the plug shaft. The drive shaft (3) connected to the plug is operably joined to the motor via gearing and to other plugs as used. The plug is joined to the gearwheel (6) through the drive shaft, the motor being driven through a toothed belt (5) also joined to further gears powering additional plugs etc. The plug cylinder is spirally grooved (17) all round and transversely drilled out (19) at the recess (18) from shaft bore (15) to the plug surround. A bushing (21) in the wall hole (13) is drilled to an inside diameter equal to that of the plug shaft bore (15), and is grooved lengthways inside (20). A remote operating element fitted to the wall connects to the control element and baseplate is rectangular or trapezoidal for preference and fitted with a guide plate (12) whose bolt fits into the drive-end holes of the drive shaft (3) to receive and guide the shaft on power.
