Vehicle tyre with symmetrical reinforcing structure and asymmetrical tread

A pneumatic tyre, esp. for trailers has a symmetrical arrangement of breaker layers (9) and carcass (8) and an asymmetric tread profile with three or more channels (11) which are 12-18 mm deep. The axially outermost raised profile (12) between the channel (11c) nearest the outside of the vehicle and the tread edge has a width of 25-40% of tread width (L). The raised profile has no channels, grooves or cuts of any kind in the surface but has up to four rows of negative, round hollows (14), each row having 100-150 recesses.
