PURPOSE: To provide a locking device with a good operativity and strength. CONSTITUTION: A lower part and a lid are provided, which are pivotable around a hinge axis via at least two hinges, respectively on two side surfaces parallel each other. The hinge comprises a first hinge part 14 provided at the lid and a second hinge part 15 provided at the lower part. All hinges have in common one actuating rod comprising a plurality of hinge pins 30 movable in parallel to the direction of the hinge axis, and the hinge pins 30 is each movably guided in a bearing casing 21 provided at the lower part and can be engaged with a sleeve 17 arranged at the first hinge part 14. The central operation of all hinges arranged on one side surface is allowed by the operation of an actuating rod 23 towards a closed position or open position via a cylinder lock.
