The tibial jib has a tubular mounting (2) on a cross-arm (6) of which one end (7) engages against the limb. A support (8) is movably placed on the mounting at the end opposite to the arm. A rod (12) to be pressed into the medullary cavity is adjustably positioned by a ladder (11) mounted on the support. The jib forms a modular assembly which allows positioning of the rod with or without use of the holder.
