In the case of a process for securing the position of a metal insert (2) in a through-passage hole (1.1) of a plastic wall of a tubular or similar hollow body (1) which is barely accessible from the inside, the metal insert (2) is positioned in the through-passage hole (1.1), with its shaft (2.1) projecting into the hollow body (1), and, thereafter, an inflatable hose (3) or similar variable-volume body, which is inserted into said through-passage hole, is pressed, by means of compressed air, against the plastic wall until an adhesive composition (4) which is then introduced via the through-passage hole (1.1) forms, under the retaining pressure of the hose (3) on the inner wall surface, an embedding means around the shaft (2.1) and hardens, whereafter the air is let out of the hose (3) and said hose is removed. <IMAGE> |
