<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of large oscillation of a froth layer in a liquid tank by dividing the liquid tank into divisions by partition members and arranging gas introducing structures in the divisions. CONSTITUTION:A large-sized liquid tank is longitudinally and latitudinally divided by partition members 3 into plural quadrilateral sections, and in the section, plural gas introducing structures S are arranged. The gas introducing structure S consists of a gas introducing pipe 1, an outer cylinder 4 surrounding it and a supporting body for supporting the outer cylinder 4 on the gas introducing pipe 1. When gas is introduced into the gas introducing pipe 1 and jetted from jetting holes 2, the fine bubbles thus generated move upwards and enter a bubble passing zone B between the inner peripheral surface of the outer cylinder 4 and the outer peripheral surface of the gas introducing pipe 1. When they further rise, a froth layer of a mixture of bubbles and liquid is generated. Since tit' bubbles of gas are thus collected in the zone B, the kinematic energy of a fluid flow due to the rise of the bubbles is sealed. Therefore, the generation of large oscillation of the froth layer in the liquid tank is prevented.</p> |
