PURPOSE:To produce the subject belt having excellent stain resistance, water absorption resistance and permanence, by providing synthetic yarn having specific tenacity with a spinning oil agent and a water-repellent oil agent in a raw yarn producing stage and heat-treating fabric obtained from the raw yarn. CONSTITUTION:Synthetic yarn such as polyester, polyamide or polyolefin is added with a spinning oil agent and 0.1-3.0wt.% of a perfluoroalkyl group- containing compound in a raw yarn producing stage to give synthetic yarn having >=8.0g/d strength and >=15% elongation at break. The yarn is woven to give a belt, which is heat-treated at 130-200 deg.C to give the objective water- repellent belt having high tenacity, high toughness, stain resistance and no permeation of water into the belt, hardly being wetted with water and having water resistance. An adduct of 1,3,5-tris(6-isocyanatohexyl)biuret to 2{(perfluoroalkyl(6-18C)}ethanol may be cited as the perfluoroalkyl group- containing compound. |
