PURPOSE:To enable battery equipment to be taken out of the recessed portion of a charger easily and smoothly by enabling the battery equipment to be securely set in the recessed portion. CONSTITUTION:Battery equipment 1 has a secondary battery built in a case 2 and has a charging terminal 3 at the bottom of the case 2. A charger 4 has a recessed portion 5 into which the battery equipment 1 is inserted from its bottom. A charging contact 6 for connection to the charging terminal 3 of the battery equipment 1 is located on the bottom of the recessed portion 5. The charger 4 has an elastic claw 7 to prevent disconnection of the recessed portion 5 from the battery equipment 1. In the recessed portion 5 of the charger 4, a lid 8 is provided on the passage 5A of the battery equipment 1. The battery equipment 1 is inserted into the recessed portion 5, the charging terminal 3 is connected to the charging contact 6, and then the battery equipment 1 can be taken out of the recessed portion 5 by moving it in a direction for opening the lid 8. |
