The measurement device uses a projector to project structured light patterns e.g. Projected-Fringe, Moire, or GreyCode, and involves a triangulation or topometric measurement method. It has a number of projection gratings (1-3) with differently encoded light structures, a viewing system to observe the patterns projected on the object under measurement, and a capture and evaluation unit to deliver position measurements of the object.The individual projection gratings are arranged on a single carrier frame (4) with defined phase relation. The frame is adjustable in the projector by a shifting device (5), so that the projection gratings are projected with the correct phase relation in the measurement region.
