PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacturing of a pallet for use in a parking device and prevent damage to a car. CONSTITUTION:The end shape of a steel plate is bent to provide a raised portion 1 extending in the longitudinal direction of the plate and a pallet body 3 wherein a wheel running surface 4 is provided on either side of the body 3 is formed, and the raised portion 1 is cut off inwardly from the end of the body 3, where a car comes in, to form a cut-off portion 5. A reinforcing rib 6 extending from the underside of the body 3 in the width direction thereof is laid across the portion 5. As a result, since the number of parts and joints is small, manufacturing of the body can be easily executed. And while a car is running onto the body 3, the bottom of the car is prevented from running against the raised portion 1, so that damage to both of the car and body 3 can be avoided. |
