PURPOSE:To provide a vibration proof supporting device and its usage capable of obtaining sufficiently large damping force. CONSTITUTION:In a vibration proof supporting device provided with a container- shaped body 10, a helical spring 12 at least the lower part of which is arranged in this body and can be freely elongated/contracted in the central axial direction, the highly viscous fluid stored in the body 10, and a cover member 18 to cover the body 10 and the helical spring 12 in an airtight manner, the helical spring 12 is of the spiral type where adjacent parts are arranged with an interval in the plane, and of the rectangular shape with approximately of constant thickness. The helical spring 12 is used so as to provide a part arranged opposite to the adjacent parts against the regular load. |
