The antenna includes a primary emission source (1) with a electronically controlled horn (2) to switch polarisation between electric parallel and perpendicular electric fields. The wires on an angled parabolic reflector (4) are mounted on the surface (7) of a thin transparent dielectric with a spacing at least equal to 1/20 of the source wavelength. The reflector is positioned on a transparent plastic dielectric (6) which is located between the reflectors. For 10 cm waves, a 2 m reflector may be used with wires of 0.1 mm diameter separated by 5 mm on a surface layer 0.8 mm thick.
