PURPOSE:To use a thermally reversible recording medium to an existing thermal printer, etc., with no erasing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A mechanism recognizing a filled thermally reversible recording medium and erasing a printed image as a whole is provided on a recording medium storing casette itself. In the recording medium storing casette, a heater 13 by which the whole inside can uniformly be heated, an electric source part 16, specified timer 14 for measuring the electricity energizing time, a recognizing sensor 12 for recognizing the filled recording medium, a microswitch 11 for monitoring the mounting condition and a temp. detecting sensor 22 for detecting the temp. in the casette, are provided. The thermally reversible recording mediums a plurality of which are filled in the casette under laminated condition and with a classification display (a cut part) are heated by means of the casette single body for a specified time and at a specified temp. to erase the printed letters and images by one action. |
