PURPOSE:To cleanly pull out a developing unit through one operation preventing toner from overflowing at the time of checking a fault and to surely feed the toner to each developing unit easily and to efficiently use the toner in the toner hopper. CONSTITUTION:The color image forming device provided with the developing unit or the process cartridge 2001 incorporating the developing unit equipped with the toner container 201A to 204A capable of replenishing the toner to the developing unit 201 to 204 for several times, corresponding to the toner consumption, disposed integrally with the developing part in freely convertibly, is constituted so as to instruct the exchange of the developing unit provided in freely exchangeably, the process cartridge incorporating the developing unit, or the toner supplement bad on the detection of the residual toner and the using frequency of the toner, moreover at the time of consuming the toner, to take a forbid of use, while, in spite of the condition, to feed the toner for the developing unit by providing a releasing means leaving to the user's discretion. |
