<p>PURPOSE:To reduce the number of inspection times for parts of a device and save labor required for setting paper by providing a press releasing means which releases a press of a paper feed roller against the receiving tray side and separates a lid body from the paper feed roller in an action, interlocking with the movement of the lid body when it is opened. CONSTITUTION:Since a recording paper receiving tray 3 is normally pushed upward by a spring 5, the recording paper receiving tray 3 and a paper feed roller 4 are brought into pressure contact with each other when recording paper is not set. In setting recording paper, an operator holds up the top end of a document receiving tray 2. This makes the document receiving tray 2 rotate, thus opening the top part of a device case body 1. When the document receiving tray 2 rotates, the projected part 2b of the document receiving tray 2 is brought into contact with the cut-projecting part 3b of the recording paper receiving tray 3, pushing the recording paper receiving tray 3 downward. As a result, the pressure contact between the paper feed roller 4 and the recording paper receiving tray 3 is released and both of them are separated from each other. In this condition, the operator inserts multi-piled recording paper 13 onto the recording paper receiving tray 3, and closes the document receiving tray 2. The inserted recording paper 13 is locked at the position of a claw 6.</p> |
