PURPOSE:To easily change the characteristic of a membership function and to easily apply the characteristic to various kinds of fields by shaping a waveform at the time of preparing the membership function. CONSTITUTION:In membership function circuits 21 and 22, input signals are supplied from an input switch part and parameters are supplied from a parameter memory. In a minimum value arithmetic circuit 23, each output function value is supplied from the membership function circuits 21 and 22, the minimum value of the supplied function value is determined, the only output function value of the value which is larger than the minimum value is made to pass and the value is supplied to a membership function generation circuit 24. The function signal formed in the membership function generation circuit 24 is supplied to a membership function synthetic circuit 19. The membership function synthesized and extracted in the membership function synthetic circuit 19 is supplied to a centroid arithmetic circuit 20. The centroid arithmetic circuit 20 determines the centroid of the waveform of the membership function and outputs the data corresponding to the centroid as output data. |
