PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of trouble due to dust accumulation on the wall part of a hopper by providing a dust collecting electrode for collecting dust with a skirt part extending in parallel to the wall of the hopper for receiving dust below. CONSTITUTION:At the lower end of a dust collecting electrode 1 placed near the wall of a hopper 3, a skirt part 5 extending in parallel to the wall of the hopper 3 is provided. The collected dust is shaken down by striking the dust collecting electrode 1 with a hammer 6. The dust collected near the wall of the hopper 3 does not fall in the wall part but falls onto the skirt part 5. The dust accumulated on the skirt part 5 is shaken down toward the center of the hopper 3 successively by striking it with the hammer 6. Therefore, the dust is prevented from being piled up on the wall part.
