<p>PURPOSE:To heighten the heat resistance and mechanical strength of an expansion joint applied to an apparatus for use in manufacturing medicine, food, etc., for example a filter dryer. CONSTITUTION:The bottom 4 of the expansion/contraction part of the body 1 of a flexible expansion joint is formed with a greater thickness than the crest part 3, and a supporting rod 8 is provided which is to be inserted in a receptacle 11 furnished interiorly at one end of the joint body 1, and a boss 7 penetrated by the supporting rod 8 is formed in a single piece with the joint body 1.</p> |
