CONDUCTIVE RUBBER ROLLER AND ITS PRODUCTION

PURPOSE:To obtain a more inexpensive conductive rubber roller having more stable volume resistivity. CONSTITUTION:The conductive rubber roller consists of a shaft 1 and at least a conductive rubber layer formed around the shaft 1. The rubber layer 2 consists of at least two layers. The rubber layer 2b as the outer layer (having the surface for use) of the two-layer rubber layer 2 has higher volume resistivity than that of the inner layer (around the shaft). The two layers are simultaneously and continuously formed into one body as a hollow state (tubular state) by several extruders and vulcanized, to which the shaft 1 is inserted to obtain the roller.
