<p>PURPOSE:To provide an apparatus for producing a compost capable of simply and efficiently producing the compost without leaking a malodor and mixing an unripened wet refuse, etc., with the ripened compost. CONSTITUTION:This apparatus for producing a compost is obtained by dividing the apparatus body 1 for producing the compost into an upper fermentation chamber 2, an intermediate filtration chamber 3 and a lower water storage chamber 4 with perforated plates 5 arranged among the respective chambers and further dividing the fermentation chamber 2 into two subdivided chambers (2a) arranged side by side. Each of the subdivided chambers (2a) is respectively constituted of a charging port 6 for an organic waste in the top plate and a compost taking out port 11 in the bottom and a malodor shielding lid 10 which is closed except when the organic waste is charged is constituted in the charging port 6. A taking in and out port 13 for a filter material is constituted in the filtration chamber 3 and the water storage chamber 4 is equipped with a draining faucet 14.</p> |
