PURPOSE:To obtain the subject oil for a hydraulic facility, etc., capable of preserving a basic property of having a wide range of solubilizing temperature and of noncombustibility,. and prolonging a life of a roller bearing greatly, constituted by containing a multiple number of nonionic surfactants having a specified HLB. CONSTITUTION:This W/O type emulsion oil contains (A) 1-90 (wt.) % of a base lubricating oil, (B) 1-60% of one or more of nonionic surfactant having a HLB value of 1-12, (C) 1-60 % of one or more of nonionic surfactant having a HLB value of 12-20, and (D) 1-60 % of water. Further, it is preferable that a portion or all of the component (B) or (C) be a carboxylic acid mono- or di-alkanol amide and their alkylene oxide adducts of formula I and II (R1 is a 1-30C alkyl, an aryl, an alkenyl, an aralkyl; R2 is H or a 1-10C alkyl; each one of R3 and R4 is a 2-3C alkylene; m is 1-10; n is 0-30) and occupies 5-100% of the total nonionic surfactant. |
