Electric switch fixing device

The fixing device uses a one-piece carrier (34), providing integral positioning and retaining elements (31, 32, 35) for the switch on one side and fixing elements (36), for securing to an appts. component, on the other side. The positioning and retaining elements are provided by projecting bolts (31), with retaining means (32) at their free ends, locating in respective openings in the switch housing, so that the arms (35) of the retaining means engage the surface of the switch. The fixing elements are pref. provided by a split pin fitting into an opening in the appts. component. The carrier is pref. formed as an injection moulded plastics component.
