The compartment (20), resting on the members (25, 26), is closed by hinged covers (16, 18). The lid (16) hinges on the member (17) and rests on the moveable member (37) which rests on the moveable stop (39). The front cover (18) is supported on arms (21) hinged on the axis (19) and contains the locking mechanism. The upper lid is biased towards open or closed positions by a ramp (41) and a lug (40), while the front cover is biased open or shut by a spring (31) acting on a fixed point (32) and the point (30) on the arm (21). The lower cover contains a mechanism which locks the arms (21) to the sides of the compartment. The stop (39) may be slid into or out of the recess (39) when the lower cover is opened.
