PURPOSE:To allow the user to select the productivity at double side recording by providing an automatic color selection function(ACS), a means designating the ACS individually for the front side and the rear side and a display means of the designated mode to a copying machine-having a double side function. CONSTITUTION:A copying mode key 125 is used to select the double side mode and to start copying operation. At first, an image scanner section 201 lights an exposure lamp 20 to implement correction processing of a white level and a black level. Then a front side original is preliminarily scanned to obtain information of an original image such as an original size and color information. In this case, the control section lights a LED 130 to display the image forming of the front side and when the ACS mode is designated, a developer in use is decided and an image scanner section 201 forms a color image selected by the control section. When the rear side recording enters, the control section lights the LED 131 and forms the image while discriminating and selecting the color in use according to the ACS mode designated similarly. |
