PURPOSE:To provide a reversible thermal recording material which has small toxicity for chemically color developing or color erasing only by control of thermal energy, high printing density and color erasing without thermal deformation of a support. CONSTITUTION:A recording material comprises a recording layer containing leuco dye, color developer/eraser and binder as main ingredients and provided on a support, wherein the developer/eraser contains organic acid having a complex salt of at least one of phenolic hydroxyl group and carboxyl group and amine compound. A reversible thermal recording material comprises the complex salt obtained by filtering precipitate obtained by mixing mixture of anionic or non-anionic surfactant to organic solvent solution of organic acid and organic solvent solution of amine compound and drying it. |
