<p>PURPOSE:To prevent such a case where the tablet surface is touched by an object other than a finger and a misinput operation is caused when the input operations are carried out by the use of the finger with a pressure-sensitive (resistance film) type tablet and an electrostatic capacity type tablet by adding a mesh type transparent spacer to the surfaces of both tablets for protection of the surfaces. CONSTITUTION:A coordinate input device consists of a normal pressure-sensitive type tablet, an electrostatic type tablet, and a mesh type transparent spacer 32. Therefore an object other than a finger never touches the surface of the tablet 31 and a correct input operation is carried out by the finger. Furthermore, a display part, if provided under the tablet 31, can be viewed owing to the transparent spacer 32. The spacer 32 also protects the surface of the tablet 31.</p> |
