The pulsoximetric sensor for use at the ear, to determine the oxygen saturation of blood in a patient, has a clamp or clip carrier (12) for the sensor (4), of an elastic plastics material. The legs (2,3) are connected by a member (8) with elastic distortion, with at least one rib (9) on the longitudinal line of the member, with elastic distortion, extending from the surface of the member. The carrier (12) is of polyurethane elastomer or silicon, with a hardness of 98-75 Shore A.
