PURPOSE:To provide a pretreatment method carrying out a pretreatment of cotton fiber napkins in a short time and continuously. CONSTITUTION:After a cotton fiber napkin is wetted by hot water or a hot solution containing a surfactant to make it easy to penetrate a chemical solution, it is treated with an acidic hot water containing sodium chlorite, and then, is added with a strong alkaline hydrogen peroxide solution containing an oxidizingly desizing agent and treated with heated steam. The pretreatment of a fabric containing much coloring materials or a napkin such as a high density woven fabric, a strongly twisted yarn fabric, etc., can be carried out in a short time and continuously. Further, the quality of the pretreated product can be more improved than usual ones. |
