PURPOSE:To prevent a cleaning blade from being deteriorated so as to increase durability by setting a discharged toner cartridge on a photoreceptor belt in the case of image formation operation and temporarily separating the discharged toner cartridge from the photoreceptor belt in the case where the image formation operation is finished. CONSTITUTION:The cleaning blade 16 of the discharge toner cartridge 9 abuts on the photoreceptor belt 1 in a discharge toner collecting condition, and performs cleaning to remove discharge toner on the photoreceptor belt 1. When an eject paper sensor detects the completion of copying operation, discharge toner cartridge separating operation is performed. A trapezoid lever 20 is pushed out by a cam 19 set on the rotary shaft of a motor 18. A fixed shaft 21 is fixed on the cartridge 9 so as to get on the lever 20 to be separated from the photoreceptor 1. A signal is transmitted from a controlling circuit 25 to the motor 18 so as to rotate the cam 19 in the case the operation is finished, so that the lever 20 is returned by a tension spring 22, and the cartridge 9 is set on the photoreceptor belt 1. |
