HEAT-RESISTANT SILICONE LUBRICANT COMPOSITION

PURPOSE:To obtain a heat-resistant silicone lubricant composition containing respective specific dimethylpolysiloxane and epoxysilane at a specific ratio, capable of imparting synthetic fiber with smoothness and flexibility without contaminating the inside of a heat-treatment drying machine and a conveyor belt and useful for the treatment of synthetic fiber for wadding, etc. CONSTITUTION:This silicone lubricant composition contains (A) 95-70 pts.wt. of a dimethylpolysiloxane having >=2 functional groups and (B) 5-30 pts.wt. of an epoxysilane expressed by formula (R<1> is a 1-5C alkylene; R<2> is OH or a 1-5C alkoxy; a is 0 or 1). The composition is preferably used for the treatment of a synthetic fiber produced by compounding a polyester composed mainly of a polyalkylene terephthalate with 0.2-10wt.% of a glyceride derivative obtained by adding an alkylene oxide to a higher fatty acid triglyceride.
