<p>PURPOSE:To provide a recording apparatus enhanced in resolving power in a main scanning direction and imparting excellent printing quality without especially increasing the capacity of a frame memory and using a high density printing head. CONSTITUTION:In a recording apparatus having image forming elements in an array form in a main scanning direction, the data of three continuous lines of the video data stored in a frame memory are selected to be outputted to a correction circuit 13 and, for example, the center dot data of 3X3 dot data is corrected in the correction circuit to output a correction value on the basis of the correction data preset to a specific pattern. Especially, by using correction data substantially increasing printing density in the main scanning direction of a printing head, the resolving power of the printing head can be enhanced falsely.</p> |
