<p>PURPOSE:To provide a highly fine large image plane having an electron source constituted by using a surface conduction type emitting element. CONSTITUTION:An X directional wiring electrode 12 is buried in a recessed groove formed in an insulating substrate 11, and a Y directional wiring electrode 14 is buried in a recessed groove formed in an insulator layer 13 laminated on this electrode 12. An electron source, integrally formed with many surface conduction type emitting elements connected to XY matrix wiring constituted of these electrodes, is provided.</p> |
