PURPOSE:To provide the fuel injection controller of an internal combustion engine for preventing flow-out of fuel at the time of collision, etc., and capable of making necessary avoidance running, in the internal combustion engine having a high pressure fuel injection system employed. CONSTITUTION:A discharge quantity of a high pressure pump is suppressed by a discharge quantity control means so as to supply fuel in low pressure at the time of emergency of a vehicle in relation to collision of the vehicle (at the time of operating an air bag trigger switch 21, etc.), in the fuel injection controller of the internal combustion engine having a high pressure fuel supply system in which at least a low pressure pump 2, a high pressure pump 6 and a fuel injection valve 9 in order downstream from a fuel tank 1, and discharge quantity control means 5, 10 for controlling the discharge quantity of the high pressure pump. |
