The system covers one or more exchanges (2) with transmitter and/or receivers, and several extensions (3) also with transmitters and receivers. To the current supply network, (de)couplers for the exchangers and extensions are linked, the latter being in the form of repeaters. The repeaters pref. contain sensors and/or actuators. The transmit and receive ranges of the extensions (3, 3',3'') mutually overlap. At least one extension transmit range so overlaps with the receive range of at least one exchange that there is an overlapping-free region between each extension and the exchange.
