<p>The tube consists of a body (12) of elongated cross-section, with two long faces (18) and two short ones (24). The end (14) is also of elongated cross-section, but with different dimensions, having two long sides (22) and two short ones, and a transitional section (16). The transitional section of the tube has two sloping surfaces (26) which connect the longer faces of the body and end of the tube, and at least one curved face (28) joining their shorter surfaces. The long surfaces of the body and end and the inclined surfaces connecting them are all flat, with the transitional section surfaces set at an angle of 30 degrees to the axis of the tube.</p> |
