The loader comprises a receiver (20) for the munition rounds, connected to the turret housing and equipped with a pusher (28) which is driven by an endless chain (32) with a drive (36). The receiver is connected to a slider (8) which moves the round between storage and loading positions, and comprises a plate (21) and two articulated half shells (22). The plate is in the shape of a rectangular panel with a flange (24) at one end to support the munition round, while the pusher is connected to a sliding carriage (27) travelling along a slideway mounted parallel to the plate. The chain drive is in the form of a pinion (35) and two rollers.
