PURPOSE:To obtain a neutral liquid detergent composition excellent in detergency, foaming properties, pH stability, resistance to microorganisms, the capability of controlling bacteria, liquid stability, and safety for the human body and the environment. CONSTITUTION:The detergent composition comprises 0.1-20wt.% surfactant mixture containing a polyglycerol/fatty acid ester being an ester of a polyglycerol of a degree of polymerization of 5-20 with an 8-10C fatty acid and a sucrose/fatty acid ester comprising a monoester of sucrose with a 10-14C fatty acid in a weight ratio of 95/5-5/95, 11-30wt.% organic acid or its alkali metal salt and 0.1-25wt.% solubilizer mixture containing a polyhydric alcohol such as propylene glycol or glycol or glycerol and ethanol in a weight ratio of 0.5 to below 1.5. It is preferable that this composition further contains an antibacterial for food. |
