PURPOSE:To provide the subject production method widely used as a subject of studies on the biosynthesis and processing until the mainfestation of a membrane protein on the cell surface membrane, capable of applying, e.g. to medicines, food materials or reagents for biochemical studies and, therefore, remarkably useful in the fields of industry. CONSTITUTION:Bacillus bravis 47 transformed by a recombination vector containing a phospholipase C gene derived from Bacillus thuringiensis and a method for production of phospholipase C (PIPLC) carried out by culturing this transformed Bacillus brevis 47 in a culture medium and collecting a phosphatidylinositol-specific PIPLC from the cultured material are provided. |
