<p>PURPOSE:To provide a head of a wooden club for golf with which the max. flying distance by an exact contact is surely obtainable by fundamentally changing the design of the style and shape of a head body, thereby ideally lowering the center of gravity. CONSTITUTION:The head body 11 of the head of the wooden club for golf, such as driver, spoon or buffy, is formed to such semicircular shape in the longitudinal section that the ridge line 17 formed by its peripheral side rising face 15 and an upper face 16 exist lower than a Y-Y line in the middle of the vertical thickness direction of the head body 11 in such a manner that the weight ratio of the upper part and lower part when the head body 11 is cut horizontally in the middle of the vertical thickness direction is 3.4:6.6 and likewise the volume ratio attains 4:6.</p> |
