PURPOSE:To provide a compact heat exchanger not requiring an expanded installation area by sealing and laminating the first through fourth heat exchange plates having required through-holes and recesses forming flow paths respectively as the heat exchanger in a flat plate type solid electrolyte fuel cell. CONSTITUTION:The flat first heat exchange plate 1 having the same surface size as that of a separator 5 is provided with a through-hole 1c for the fed air A, a recess 1e forming a flow path of air A, and a through-path 1d for the discharged air B. The second heat exchange plate 2 is provided with a recess 2e for the air B, a through-path 2d, and a through-path 2c for the air A. The third and fourth heat exchange plates 3, 4 are same as the heat exchange plates 1, 2 respectively. When the heat exchange plates 1-4 are laminated and sealed, a heat exchanger made compact by the lamination of flat plates, requiring no facility of air passages, not requiring an expanded installation area, and exchanging heat between the air A, B is obtained. |
