<p>PURPOSE:To accurately make a judgement on blood pressure only based on the Korotkoff sound signals by providing a setting means for setting the base noise level of detected signals by a detecting means based on the respective values of detected peak and bottom signals. CONSTITUTION:In the detection of base noise, the time of 2 seconds after measurement has been started, is equally divided by 16 so that each window is set up to 125mS, the noise level in each window is then measured, both of the peak and bottom values in each window are detected so as to be stored in a peak register KP and a bottom register KB, respectively, and furthermore, each difference is determined so that it is made to be the noise level in each window. And, an area counter AC counts 0 through 15 with +1 added to each window, and control is performed in such a way that KP and KB of each window of AC is detected, a greater one out of KP and KB is picked up so as to be stored in the peak memory P of the window, and a smaller one is concurrently picked up so as to be stored in the bottom memory B of the window, and the minimum one out of 15 differences is picked up so that it is made to be base noise BN.</p> |
