The mechanism is for manoeuvring the cut-off chambers (3,4) of the circuit breaker which has a vertical column (1B) connected to the two cut-off chambers (3,4) by a metal casing (5). The mechanism is initially constructed outside the casing. The shaft (7) is hinged to first push rods (9A,9B) which hinge with intermediate pieces (10A,10B). The latter are connected to the mobile equipment (4A,4B) by second push rods (11A,11B) and a hinged to metal pieces (12A,12B) which centre the mechanism. The assembly is passed through one of the side openings and the metal pieces are positioned by two projections (13A,13B) on the metal casing. The shaft is placed opposite the drive rod (6) and fixed to it while the metal pieces are screwed to the projections.
