PURPOSE:To produce a nonoriented silicon steel sheet low in iron loss, furthermore low in rotating iron loss. CONSTITUTION:This steel sheet is the one contg. <=0.01% C and 2.5 to 5.9% Si, and in which the contents of S, N and O are suppressed to <=0.0030% and <=0.0020%. Moreover, the ratio of inclusions having >=4mum dimension in the steel is regulated to <=60% by a volume fraction to all inclusions in the steel, and furthermore, the ratio of inclusions of <1mum in the steel is regulated to <=15%, preserably to <=5% by a volume fraction to all inclusions in the steel. |
