<p>PURPOSE:To provide an operating method of a rolling measuring instrument such as a tension meter and so forth provided on a rolling line of a metal plate. CONSTITUTION:A load given to a tension roller 2 is detected by setting pressure sensor 3a, 3b respectively on the operating side and the driving side in the rolling line of a strip 1. When this detected signal is inputted into a process calculator 9 and arithmetic-processed through addition and/or substraction and one of pressure sensors 3a, 3b is decided to be abnormal, arithmetic processing can be carried out at a small loss time by changing the sensor into the other normal sensor through one action in the process calculator 9 and using its detected signal only.</p> |
