In a device for blocking an axially movable securing pin (or securing bolt) (1) by means of a force element (6) which engages by means of a detaining ball (2) into a detaining groove (1.1) on the circumference of the securing pin (1), the detaining ball (2) being pressed out of a guide cylinder (3), axis-parallel to the securing pin (1), by means of a detaining pin (4) displaceable therein (by means of the force element) and having a piston (5) into the detaining groove (1.1) via a passage bore (7), this pressing on the detaining ball (2) takes place at the same time by two mutually axis-parallel detaining pins (4) having pistons (5), each detaining pin (4) being assigned its own force element (6), and the two passage bores (7) for the detaining ball (2) being arranged at an acute angle to one another between the two guide cylinders (3) of the detaining pins (4) and the detaining groove (1.1). <IMAGE>
