The invention is based on a seal of the abovementioned type, in the case of which tarpaulins are stretched to the building from the borders of a vertical apron which is to come into contact with the vehicle, and the tarpaulin borders oriented towards the building, the borders being thickened, are retained in an undercut groove of a profile, the borders being secured against release from the groove. In order to achieve a barrier which is effective over the length of the profiles, the invention provides, in the groove, an elastic filling strip which, on the side located opposite the thickened tarpaulin border, is connected in a positively locking manner to the profile which forms the groove.
